About
Research in the open.
Hey Get Well synthesizes health research I'm digging into out of genuine curiosity. The scattered evidence on a condition rarely lives in one place, and almost never with an honest account of how strong that evidence actually is. This site tries to be that place: I read the literature and pull it together into one clear, well-organized picture per topic. It isn't limited to a niche; it follows whatever biology I'm trying to understand well enough to actually change.
The through-line is a bias toward mechanism over management. Most health content stops at coping strategies. I'm more interested in the layer underneath: the pathways, feedback loops, and control systems that produce a condition in the first place, and whether understanding them well enough opens a path to genuinely resolving it. And I try to be honest about grade of evidence, separating what's well supported from what's plausible from what's hype.
Current investigations include what the research says about correcting delayed sleep phase disorder at the level of the circadian clock, and the inflammatory and innate-immune mechanisms behind CIRS and sick-building syndrome. More will be added over time.
How to read this
Each investigation has a topic hub: a living synthesis of what the published research says, updated as new studies land. Key claims link to their sources. Where I run any personal experiments, they appear as a clearly labeled section inside the relevant synthesis, never as the whole basis for a claim.
Not medical advice
I'm not a physician. This site synthesizes published research for general education. It is not diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified clinician. If you're dealing with a health problem, work with a professional.
